Developing strong connections and engaging with the community helps children develop a sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves. At Picnic Point Preschool & Childcare Centre, we intentionally plan for opportunities to develop and strengthen community connectedness. Children enjoy incursions from special guests such as the police and emergency services, medical professionals and even war veterans.
In addition to engaging with the wider community, we also foster a strong sense of community within our centre. We love celebrating special events with families and honour the special people in each child’s life through our Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Grandparent’s day celebrations. You will also love our annual ‘thank you BBQ’ that we arrange for families as well as our fabulous holiday party.
