At Picnic Preschool & Childcare Centre, we believe that it is important for children to learn about nature and the environment. Our educators intentionally teach and involve children in practices that promote healthy and sustainable living. To support this focus, our centre has two nominated sustainability officers who take a lead role in guiding staff and children to grow their awareness of and implement sustainability practices. Our goal is to utilise natural resources and give children the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will assist them to become environmentally responsible individuals.
